Greetings:
The electronic control on my Maytag stove (CHE9000BCB) died last night; the UP arrow key no longer functions. Looking at the panel area, it seems that this part is relatively easy to repair. Could you provide instructions on how to disassemble the front panel to replace this part and are there any special tools I would need for this repair or any "gotcha's" I need to be aware of?
Thanks,
-Jim

I guess we are riding the same derailed train, as my CHE9000 control died sometime while we were gone over Christmas! I have ordered a replacement clock assembly from our hosts here, but after looking at the Owner's Manual for the range, it states that the top can not be raised like other ranges?!? I'm not sure what this means, but am worried about how to access the control panel to replace the clock. So any information that you find out about this operation will be greatly appreciated by me too! Steve

Steve,
I had no problem replacing the electronic control; on my unit the top does pop up from the front once the clips in the front are released. I have detailed instructions from another forum that were exactly what I needed to replace the unit. Send me your email and I'll send them directly if you'd like.

I have an Amana AGDS902WW. The digital clock that controls the oven stopped working. I replaced it, but the new one is not working either. We had a water spill on the counter next to the stove and some water may have run down the side of the stove and gotten on the relay board mounted underneath. Before I buy a new relay board, however, I was wondering if anyone knows of something I may have overlooked. The oven light and downdraft stove fan switch work so I know the control panel is getting power. The clock is the only thing not working on the control panel.

I have the same problem that "Nashman" and "Old Yellow" had; i.e., the oven clock control assembly died on my Maytag CHE9000. Nashman said he had detailed instructions on how to replace that unit . . . . could someone also please send them to me at johnmichaelday@comcast.net? Thanks!

Sorry to tell you. You need to call a tech. I eventually called a professional and I watched him do it. You need special tools. Good luck.
