I checked water pressure to inlet valve all good,but no water from valve to ice maker. Unplugged power source,unplugged valve and did a continuity test on valve. Digital meter read 193 manufacturer says should be between 500 and 1500, does that mean the inlet valve is bad?

I would say it's at the least very suspect. Have you forced a harvest cycle and checked for voltage at the valve?

Depends on the age. Typically W/P you pop the front cover off the ice maker and put a jumper wire between T and H. After it turns for a bit, pull the wire and it should keep going. Go around back and watch the meter for a few second flash of 120vac. Get the meter set up and connected to the valve plug before you jump it.
