I have a side by side. One weekend I had a lot of company and tried to raise temp on both fridge and freeze and still did not cool.

I can hear the fans working and some times they shut off but most of the time they run all the time.

I did clean underneath the fridge and it did not appear too dirty.

I also noticed for the past 2-3 months that if the ice was made and sat for a while it tasted funny and both the fridge and freezer had an odd order. this is before it totally did not work.

we cleaned everything but still it smelled funny.. not like bad food but just bad.:confused:

Do you have an idea what our problem could be? how do we fix it?
