The timer Will start comes It will start pumping water in and out, but it seems to me that it cuts off when it is time for the tub to spine. it will only run 30 or so sec.. if you push the start it come back on 30 more sec.

This Neptune is a slightly newer version of the MAH3000, probably the worst washer ever built. If you have more than 10 years use from it you hit the washer jackpot. It is not worth fixing or even spending time trying to troubleshoot. This model and its predecessor were so bad they nearly destroyed Maytag which was saved only by selling itself to Whirlpool.

Sorry for bad news but the time has come to replace it.
