Hi!

So this dishwasher (I haven't been able to track down our paperwork, so I'm unsure of the Model #) is about 9 months old, and until today has worked perfectly.

When I had the door completely open, to load, I realized I was suddenly standing in a puddle of water. I couldn't find where it had come from so I went to shut the door and saw the entire front panel was covered in rivulets of water coming from the top of the door panel, under the control panel.

When the door is closed, there is no leaking, only when it is open for loading. I haven't yet started to run a load, afraid of what might happen.

I haven't been able to find ANY info on the internet about doors leaking in this area- PLEASE HELP! We move in a month I would love to have this completely fixed before.

Need a model number.
Find your model number - AppliancePartsPros.com

You will want to take the door apart to make sure that it is nice and dry inside before trying to start it.
Also would be a good idea to remove power from it.

On many machines the inner door panel is held to the outer door by screws around the perimeter. Sometimes these screw are hidden by the door seal.

Also are you sure it was water and not rinse aid?
