All functions except Bake are working correctly, including Broil. Our Bake reaches temperature during the preheat and clicks off. The problem is that it never clicks back on when temperature drops. The bake heat element is red during preheat only. An appliance repair person told us that the control board is the problem and the part is no longer available. Before purchasing a new range, we wanted to know if it is possible for the Broil to work normally and Bake have a problem when the control board is bad? Was something possibly overlooked? Your response would be appreciated.

If part is no longer avaliable you can always ship it to CoreCentric Solutions | Adding Value from Start to Finish and have it repaired sounds like you have a bad relay on the board I would also check and ohm out oven probe sensor start with a cold oven around room temp and remove sensor either from inside should ohm out around 1080 ohm and then check at board if you do not get the same reading then there is a wiring issue

Below is a link with info on the oven sensor.
Take a look at 7, 8, 20 and 21.

There are quite a few companies out there that fix control boards, just Google "appliance timer repair"

Note that I have no experience with these companies and no reason to think that CoreCentric would not do a good job.
