I have a Maytag Maxima MDG6000WX2 Dryer. This unit is just over 1 year old and has gotten very noisy when heated.

At first it would start out normally, then when heated it started getting louder and stayed loud.

Noisey?

As in a metal to metal vibration or something else completely?

Hi Tech72,

It's not a metal to metal, no squeaking.

Thanks

I have seen in a rash of fans/impellers that are collecting lint and causing some sever vibration issues. Also have seen mount plate that holds the heater assy vibrate at the bottom of the dryer.

My apologies for not having a direct answer, you description is a little vague and makes diagnosing difficult.
