Any ideas on how to figure out the model number of my GE dryer? The plate is missing that would have it engraved.

Try getting the part number off of the timer. Then use that to cross reference back to the model number.
Timers are pretty model specific. |

here are the numbers located on the timer. I am not sure where to cross reference model m460-g other numbers on it 1153 9112A6 014-67383

This is what I did. I Googled M460-G 212D1233P013 On another site I got manufacturer has cross referenced production number 212D1233P013 with this item, part number WE4M527. I then came to AppliancePartsPros and searched WE4M527. I came up with the following part. Click on the picture for more info which includes a list of units this timer was used on. Part number: AP5632405
