Hi guys,

My dryer rotary switch is stuck in the on position. I can turn off the machine either by opening the door or what I am doing, using the time dry switch which shuts itself off when the cycle is over.

I can not get a replacement switch until Monday.

Id this unsafe ? I assumed not since it is just relying on another switch to kill the power but everything before that stays live 24/7 I assume. Is that bad for other electronic parts down the line or dangerous in anyway ? Should I unplug the unit when not in use or leaving house ?

Thanks in advance.
