Maytag washer won't fill on rinse cycle. It fills fine when you start the washer (on the wash cycle) and it goes through and when it hits the rinse area and needs to fill up with new water it just barely drips from the water area. I know the hose is clear and all because it fills fine on the wash cycle. Any suggestions???

Does this model have a temperature sensor in the fill valve? I believe these rinse with cold water, so try running on cold/cold to see if it could be the cold water side of the fill valve malfunctioning.
Some models that have a temp sensor in the fill valve malfunction and wont let cold water come in, or won't let hot water in.

I found this site/forum/thread/post via a google search for the same problem. Turns out the cold water had just been turned off at the faucet by somebody trying to wash their hands.

Thank you.
