Hi Folks, I have a GE spacesaver stackable washer and dryer. After drying a heavy load this afternoon, the dryer's knob suddenly started buzzing/grinding whenever I turn it, and buzzes occasionally during the cycle. The drum spins and heats, but the buzzing/grinding is persistent. Here is a link to video of the issue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmeZXQVu7y8. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi. You need to replace the timer Part number: AP3637093
Unplug the unit or turn off the circuit breaker before opening the console. Locate two philips screws one in each corner at the bottom of the console and loose them up, then push the console up to release the top and rotate it forward. Mark all the wires at the timer before removing them. Here the breakdown diagrams and parts list for you appliance Model WSM2420TCAWW
Good luck. Please keep us posted of the results. Thank you, Simon.
