My 5 year old Ikea Nutid wall oven (Whirlpool) like the rest on this forum had the oven door locked and no display after first time using self clean. I followed your instructions and replaced the thermal fuse and the thermal overload safety thermostat. The display panel now works, however the oven won't come on. Any sdvice?
Thanks,
Trish

Here are your parts
Parts for Whirlpool IBS550PWS00 Oven - AppliancePartsPros.com

See the attachment for the tech sheet.

Check that the oven thermal fuse is 0 ohms.

Check that the power to the unit is OK.
The oven elements require the full 240 volts.

Try flipping the breaker off/on slowly, sometimes you can loose half the line without actually tripping the breaker.
If this does nothing, check the voltage at the plug
L1 to L2 should be 240 volts
L1 to Neutral and L2 to Neutral, both should be 120 volts.
If OK
Unplug the unit and check the wires at the terminal strip in the machine to make sure none are loose or burned out
If OK
Check the power at the terminal strip.
Be careful as 240 volts is lethal !!!
