the dryer will automatically shut off early due to overheating...usually in a couple minutes and will be extremely hot
it works fine on no neat cycle and low heat cycle.....not on high heat or auto-sense cycle
ive checked vent line
ive taken the back panel off and cleaned the lint tube and checked the air inlet tube.....cleaned out both along with the vent ribs on the back panel
ive cleaned all the wire contacts
the heat strip ceramic looks likes it gotten hot----1/2 blackened....but obviously still gets hot
im guessing theres a thermostat or heat sensor somewhere that may be the issue?.....i saw two sensor looking things, one on top of the air inlet tube and one on the lint tube....any suggestions on what im looking at and which one is causing the issue?.....thanx

Check for a grounded heat element. Unplug dryer and check resistance between heater terminals and the heater metal case. Should be open. If you get a reading, replace the element.
