icemaker sends power to valve when temp at icemaker is < 6-8 deg F... needs to be cold in the freezer ... if it is cold enough, you could have a bad icemaker ... ( just make sure the tube in the wall of the freezer is not plugged closed with ice... ) remove plastic tube at back wall to go into the box toward the icemaker ... leave it in a bucket for several hours and see if you get water in the bucket.. if so, you have a clog in the tube in back wall of freezer, if not either not cold enough or bad icemaker ..
