My Whirlpool washer drains but won't spin. I replaced the Sub-coupler a year ago and just replaced the Clutch ass'y and installed a Cam agitator kit. It is not the lid switch & I can hear the motor running. HELP!!!

Thanx,

Right, since the machine is draining the motor is working and the coupling is fine.

So check to see if the clutch housing is spinning during the spin cycle. If not, the transmission is likely at fault. If so, and you replace the clutch lining and brake cam correctly the drive block may be an issue.

Thanx. I ordered a Drive block & will try that, as it seemed like it was spinning loudly & banging around, before it went to heck.

I'm trying to replace the Drive Block, but I can't get the inner basket to come out, after I removed the nut. I've tried cleaning out around it, but it is stuck on there. Any ideas?

Thanx,

It should just lift out, see this video. I assume by nut you mean the nut that holds the basket on.

but if it is all gunked up that may be a problem. Can only suggest you work it carefully and see if you can get it out without breaking anything.
