Just yesterday the microwave started making a very loud humming noise while in use. Still heats, the convection still works, and noise happens regardless if microwave or convection micro in use.

What could this be??

What kind of humming noise is it because it is normal for the microwave to have a humming noise when it is working. The only time it is a problem is when the noise just sounds off. We had this happen to our microwave a couple of months ago. I don't know what happened but the food was on fire and I think that is what caused the problem. We ended up replacing it because it wasn't worth the trouble to fix it and get rid of the burning smell. I personally think you should get a new microwave if you think there is a problem.
