The high voltage secondary winding is dead short but Display, clock, lights, hood fan, timer counts down, I can hear relay snap in then out at end of cook time but transformer is shorted out no heating. Would this transformer being shorted out have damaged something else? should I bother changing transformer. Would a relay also be damaged?

The Primary Interlock Switch did not like the heavy load from the shorted high voltage transformer and did in.
