My dryer will not heat up in the timed dry mode, auto dry mode works fine. I have replaced the thermostat and thermal cutoff and also went ahead and threw in a new heating element

Unusual problem.. Yeah, my thoughts are with the timer as well. Those are easy to take apart to insoect the contacts. Sometimes they can even be cleaned if they aren't blown out.

Not worth the effort to try and repair this type of timer. They are absolute junk. Used on low end dryers and fail all the time.
