My Kenmore elite washer has stopped working. It fills up with water perfectly fine but when it moves onto the next phase it doesn't respond and trips the breaker.
I've restarted it, flipped the breaker back, but I can't seem to find the issue so I can fix it.
I apologize for not knowing the model number, I couldn't find it when I looked but if guided could provide it.

We really need to see the model number, so see if you can locate it.

It could be a bad motor or it could be something jamming the agitator or pump or something else. It can even be a capacitor if it has one, but without a model number (inside the door or beneath the lid?) we really cannot help much.

Thanks but that is not it. A Kenmore washer model number should begin with a 110 or 417 followed by eight digits. See if you can locate it.

Thanks
