I am going to purchase Part Number AP4484328 (WB27T11233) to replace the "skin" on my GE double wall oven. The panel works fine, but the skin part over some of the buttons is/has come off ... cosmetic fix is needed. How do you remove the old "skin" (faceplate) so I can replace it with this part? There is nothing in the manuals that tell me how to do this.

Click on the picture for more info and reads the Q&A. Part number: AP4484328
It is a peel and stick. Note that heating it up with a hair dryer often helps to loosen the old glue so you can remove it. Also when cleaning up any old glue be careful that you do not get any in the backer plate buttons. |

Thank you. Just for everyone's information, I received the "skin" today in the mail after ordering from Appliance Parts Pro and it DOES NOT fit a GE double wall oven Model #JTP55SM1SS ... even though the website says it is compatible with this model. I have to return it now and keep searching for some help!:(
