My washing machine is humming and I cannot find a repair manual or take apart instructions. I tried popping up the corners with a putty knife and had no luck.
It is a wjsr2070b2ww.

Front panel opens for service. To open panel, insert and push a putty knife into the top groove of the front panel in line with the lid opening on each side to release the spring clips. Tilt panel outward and lift from machine. Rotate motor pulley by hand to see if it is free. One direction should rotate belt and main drive pulley causing agitation, opposite direction for spin. If it's free to turn but just hums with power applied, you need to check voltage at motor connector. You should have 120vac between blue wire and yellow wire as well as between the red wire and violet/white wire. If good, you have a faulty motor, otherwise, a faulty timer.
