Our GE Triton dishwasher wan't drain all the water out when the cycle is complete. There is still about 1-1 1/2 gallons in the bottom. On the rinse only cycle there was even more remaining than the regular wash cycle. Any ideas?

Thank you for your reply. We cleaned out the screen below the main water arm. There wasn't much there but seemed to solve the problem. We were able successfully run a rinse cycle and it drained completely.

Now it won't complete a wash cycle, it fills, then stops, although the lights on the board stay on. It will be off for 10-15 minutes and come back on and runs a rinse cycle only, shuts off again and continues to do this. The detergent door never opens.

My guess would be that it was the turbidity sensor (item 321 in section 05).
I do not have a timing chart for this unit but on many units if it thinks the water is too dirty it will do a drain and refill. It will do this a number of times and may end up just giving up.
Note that the above is just a guess.
