My washer is giving me an error code of E10 which according to my paperwork means there is an issue with the water supply. I have exhausted all solutions given in the paperwork that came with the washer including making sure water supply faucets are fully open, straightening hoses, tightening inlet hose connections, etc. I am not what I can do at this point....

Hi,

Did you check the water inlet screens?
Remove the fill hoses and take a look at the screen in the water valve to make sure they are clean.

yes, I checked the screen as well and no debris...I went through the troubleshooting and found a more detailed error code of E11.

We are having the same problem, but our cold water screen is dirty. I'm trying to find out how to get the screen out to clean it. Anyone know?

It is a GLTF2940ES3.

Thanks!

I just had to clean my inlet screens and it was a pain in the #$$. First you have to take the two screws in the back that are contected to the cover part of the washer out. Pull the back of the of the cover towards you and lift it off. You will see three multicolored wires connected to the inlet housing that you have to remove so with out saying make sure the washer is unplugged. Next remove the two screws on the inlet housing with out dropping them like I did. Then pull the housing from the detergent cabinet then back towards it to remove the entire inlet unit. You have to work with it a while to get it at the right angle. That about sums it up and to put it back together just do the exact opposite. Hope this helps some people. Don't bother calling Frigidaire customer support because they were no help.

I ended up using toothpicks and Q-tips to scrape the dirt out of the screen, and rinsed it with the intake hose into a bucket. It took an hour or two to clean, and the code went away.

My son and I followed the directions of CN1979 and removed the cover and screws. Great directions and no problems doing that. But the problem of how to flush out the water supply persisted. My son recommended shooting water through a straw into the intake and letting it back-flush onto a towel. That worked! We may not have had to remove the cabinetry and intake unit, but doing so allowed us to shake it some and flush it at different angles.

Same problem, E 10 unnecesarily removed top and brought blue tube out which water connects. On the bench removed inlet screens which could have been done without removal of top. But anyway. cleaning filter inlet screens seemed to solve the problem.
