My dishwasher has water standing in the bottom after the washing cycle has completed. All drain lines have been removed and checked, all are clean. No garbage disposal. I've taken apart the pump filter components and found debris, thinking that was the problem, I cleaned it out only to have the same thing happen. If I let it run a complete cycle, there will be water left in the bottom. If I start a cycle and cancel it after water fill cycle, it will drain completely. Any thoughts?

Here are your parts.

You could try letting it drain into a pailjust to be sure it is not a plubing problem.
Just be sure to hold the drain hose securely in the pail and put a towel etc. over the top so it does not splash all over.

A common place to debris to collect is where the drain hose connects to the house plumbing.

When you checked the drain hose did you also check the flapper/check valve Item 5 in section 08?

Took the lower assembly apart again today and pulled the check valve, it looked ok and couldn't find any debris around it. Took the drain hose off the sink drain to ensure that it was still clean, decided to go a bit farther and check the trap and drain line after the trap. There was some build up in those lines, although the sink didn't seem to drain slowly, I cleaned them out and the dishwasher has drained completely each time since. Not sure if one or the other was the fix but, thanks for the pointers!

You are welcome.

And thanks for getting back to us. Now when others search for a similar problem they will see what actually worked instead of just suggestions about what could be the cause.
