the bottom element in oven doesnt heat

Unplug the unit. Remove the screw that holds the element to the back of the oven cavity. Gently pull the element into the cavity. Measure it with a meter. Most of them are around 20 ohms.
It is a good idea to clip something to the element's wires so that if they come off they do not disappear into the back of the unit.
It is very important that the unit be unplugged as most oven elements still have 120 volts on one side even with the oven turned off. |
