I have a Whirlpool Gold Refrigerator. Last week, after a big freeze up around the ice bucket, the auger no-longer seems powerful enough to push ice out.

When the bucket is not in the door, the drive shaft spins fine. When no ice is in the bucket, the auger and blades spin normally. I then put 5-10 pieces of ice in it and it now has a hard time with it. I posted this elsewhere and the consensus is that the motor needed to be replaced. I order the motor, installed it, and same result. The auger spins when there's no ice, but won't budge when ice is in the bucket.
