Hi, today I noticed that my dryer timer was not moving, and the driver was just running, and running. I also then noticed that it was not getting hot at all.
It looks like it may be either the heating element or the the thermal fuse or any other wire is cut off. Did it happened because of no cleaning dust filter? How can I do? How much is repair? Thanks.

Does timer not advance in both timed dry and auto dry cycles? Motor would not run if thermal fuse is blown.

the timer does not turn in the section that includes auto sense dry and no heat fluff. the motor still works but no heat coming out of the dryer. is this issue actually due to not cleaning the dust filter? lastly, our mechanic says that it costs about $400-450 to repair our dryer. is this is an average cost to repair the dryer with this kind of issue?

You didn't answer my question. Does the timer advance on it's own when set to timed dry? Since I don't know whats wrong with the dryer yet, I can't say if it's a lint issue. $400-$450 is ridiculous. Might as well buy a new dryer.

moreover, i want to know whether not cleaning the dust filter greatly affects wires or the timer to be broken. lastly, if i found a problem on the timer how much is it to just repair the timer? Thank you for replying my question.

I think you have an open heater element. You need to check continuity on it. You should be cleaning your lint filter between every load of laundry. Not cleaning the filter will cause the dryer to overheat which can damage various components not to mention start a fire. You should also thorougly clean out all internal ducts in the dryer and the external vent duct at least annually
