I have a GE Profile Spectra xl44 and the oven will not turn on. I have taken off the bottom plate to expose the burned and the ignitor. When I turn the broiler on the ignitor glows red and the flame turns on. When I try to do that with the oven, the ignitor does not glow at all and the flame will not kick on. I assume its the ignitor that has gone bad, but I wanted to make sure before I pay for the part and shipping that I am on the right track.

Check if there is 120 VAC to the Bake igniter while the control calls for Bake. If there is proper power, replace the igniter. If there is no proper voltage, post the results and we'll go further with the diagnosis. - The Bake igniter Part number: AP2014008

I have a GE PROFILE SPECTRA XL44 The Self cleaning oven part works the light on top works and when I try to use my oven the numbers light up and it won't heat. This happened a couple months ago and I cleaned it again and it work heating again for a short time but now it will not heat at all. You can set it to the temp you want the oven on all that lights up but no heat.
