Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 12/11/2007(UTC) Posts: 4		It seems that my microwave carousel motor has some wires loose. sometimes the turnable works and some times it does not work. some times it works after 40 seconds or so. I have cleaned the area properly but it is still not working. I am pretty sure the area is cleaned. I tried cleaning it several times. It looks like there is some loose contact in the motor. How can I repair this? Please guide me.

It could be worn out or cracked. - The part number for the support AP3882860 Gene.

Remove the electrical plug from the turn table motor and check for 120V coming to the motor when the microwave is "on". Post the result, please. Gene.

I mean 0 volt. I opened the keypad panel and tighten all cables. It started working. But it was for few days only. It has again started behaving weird. It is a loose contact. If I tap the microwave panel from the side, it works.
