Hi, I did a search but didn't see anything on this model number. I broke the glass jar and am searching for a replacement. Other sites show this is perhaps discontinued, however I just wanted to check again. Or perhaps there is a different part # that would work with this model: KSB5MC4. Otherwise, looks like I will be doing some blender shopping. Thanks!

Yes the jar is obsolete.
It's Kitchenaid part number looks like 9704200.

I did a Google using this number and found this listed on Amazon for about $30.00.

There is also a possibility that you could buy an upper assembly kit which includes the glass jar but the other parts would probably be use;less to you. Also it is up around $70.00.
