Hello Friends, There is a Question for you. When I put popcorn in the microwave, after 1:45minutes, I took out and forgot to close the microwave, so while i was looking down at the popcorn opening it (I was right by the open microwave), my eyes started "hurting". It wasn't like a stinging pain, just felt so weird. And tears started coming out of my eyes. It was so intense, I ran outside. Are my eyes just sensitive to heat? The microwave/popcorn wasn't very hot at all. Or is this radiation? _________________________ Web Designing Companies in Delhi

Maybe the sight of popcorn brings tears to your eyes from hunger? Or maybe orville redenbacker is trying to poison you?

Are my eyes just sensitive to heat? Only you can know that.
Or is this radiation? With the microwave door open the magnetron should shut off so I doubt it is radiation.
Some popcorn has fake butter for flavoring so it was probably the fumes from that. |

I think this is the best ANSWER.. A minute is generally 60 seconds. Some minutes are 61 seconds owing to the introduction of leap seconds, but that is unimportant here. Most microwave ovens have generally simple inputs, when you type 1-2-0, you fill it's digit buffer with 1-2-0, which is interpreted according to the format m:ss and not, as you think, sss. The reason for this is that, generally, people have been found to put items on for periods of time which span several minutes and it is easier to simply input a number of minutes plus an amount of seconds than it is to do the arithmetic to work out how many seconds the desired amount converts to. If all cooking instructions quoted seconds, then microwaves would have an input panel which read in a number of seconds instead. But, the defacto method for measuring time is done using a hierarchy of units (which we call seconds, minutes, hours etc). It's as simple as that. ______________________ Event Management Companies in Delhi| Web Designing Companies in Delhi
