This dryer will start, heat and turn for a couple minutes the beeps an stops. When restarted, it will do the same over again. Thank you for any help.

Any error codes? Try disconnecting the unit from the venting hose on the wall and run it and see if the problem still persists. This problem with this model seems to be a really big problem with your unit. Without error codes it's hard to help. Do yourself a favor google search your model number and see all the problems that are listed like this on various sites maybe someone will have some insight on this issue. Check inside the unit either behind the control panel or underneath the top of the unit and see if you can find a tech sheet to get it into troubleshooting mode to get an error code perhaps. You can also contact the manufacture and see if there's any recalls on this item. 417 model is made by fridgedaire. here's there website for customer service http://www.frigidaire.com/contactus/
