Trying to remove an old wall oven I foolishly removed the microwave to make the unit lighter. I am left with an uninsulated wire in the oven chassis that sparks and smokes briefly when cut. The oven has been sitting with power off (at breaker) for a week, but the wire still smokes when cut.
1) What is this wire 2) Is there a way to make the oven safe to remove and handle?

Thanks in advance .
