You may also want to figure out where the bubbles are coming from.
A common cause is filling the rinse aid dispenser with standard dish soap by mistake. If this is the case the rinse aid system will have to be flushed out. It does not take very much dish soap to cause big problems. |

:) For those informative replys: Thank you both soo much! This is really important... I used a brand new bottle of BAD Cascade Dishwasher soap (Lemon Citron) The 1st time I noticed white chalk marks in the bottom of the stainless steel tub. The 2nd time I noticed a white blob on the forks below the soap dispenser (on the door) and heavier chalk marks in the tub again. 3rd full cycle wash left soap bubbles up to my elbow & some water. 4th time ran and again soap bubbles but no water! lastly ran a rince only cycle and do you think those bubbles went away....no....while waiting for a reply ...Lastly ran to Ralph supermarket and bought Finish GEL. Ran Full cycle and HOORAY no soap bubs & no water! Squirted the bad stuff in the sink and ran really hot water and guess what? IT wasn't breaking up just gobs in the strainer! I called the 800 phone # on the bottle & the recording says its a $4.99 charge to call it. Searched the web for 1hr looking for a tel# (they sure dont make it easy to contact them. Finally Proctor & Gamble said based on the long numeric code below the yellow cap it was made in 2006 & probably went bad. She said it does have an expiration date. I advised her they should put it on the product (not something only P&G can interpret) Mine was only 6 months old because my husband purchased one the same time I did therefore one sat on the shelf. somebody sold soap from 2006. I read the soap bubbles can mess up the pump. Keeping my fingers crossed. They are going to mail a coupon for a replacement. I told them I spent enough hours of life trying to resolve this problem! MY advise to those helping on this forum DISWASHING DETERGENT DOES GO BAD= CASCADE SAID SO!
