I wasn't paying attention nuking a potato, and the thing burst into flames. Unfortunately, it was like that for a while before I noticed. It was running, but I got there just in time to see the entire microwave shut itself off (safety mechanism or melted wire??). I tried resetting the apartment's fuses for the kitchen a couple of times, but that didn't do anything. ALso tried unplugging it before resetting the fuses. Nothing.

I think the model cost 600 when I initially bought it, and it cost 100-200 to replace the keypad recently.

My question is - is there an internal fuse that might be the issue? I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it to try to repair it or just buy a new, cheaper one.

THanks in advance for any help.

Hello,

How bad is the paint damage inside?

What is the end of the model number?

Gene.
