Hello everyone,
With the help of Gene, and others, I found out that my clutch was bad and i had to order another one. I just installed the new clutch and did a quick wash, without any clothes, and about 20 minutes into it I got the uc code again. I opened the lid and there wasn't any residual water in it, so I hit the start button again and it finished.
All the while, it has made some sounds that I have never heard before, pretty much during most of the cycle. So I'm figuring that I must of installed it incorrectly. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Just started another quick wash with clothes and at about the 25 minute mark it seems to stop. it sounds like it's trying to rev up, almost like a airplane engine does, then revs right back down. It does this repeatedly. Just wanted to share this incase it help diagnose the problem.
Thanks again.
Jef

Hi Jeff,

Here is the very important part of the clutch installation instructions: "When reinstalling, properly seat Pulley with a 1/16-1/8" gap between the Pulley face and shaft end. On reinstallation, tighten Pulley Bolt to 96 inch pounds."

Did you do it?

Gene.

Gene,
Thanks for the info. I had thought I did but apparently did not. I re-installed it again and it's running perfect. Thanks for all of your help. I really appreciated it.

You are welcome Jef. I'm glad it's up and running.
