I am trying to replace the cook top igniters but I can't seem to get the cook top removed. I got got the two catches on either side of the top unhooked but it still will not budge. How is it removed? Any help is certainly appreciated. Thank You.

Hi.

Try to take off the burner cap first, then remove two screws holding the burner top, if the burner top is not lifting easily after the screws removed, use a putty knife to work around the burner top.
The ignitor is attached to the burner top.

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Cooktop parts for Whirlpool SF325PEGW0 - AppliancePartsPros.com

Post the results.

Simon.
