I have had this never installed Thermodor CEH365VQB cooktop for years, never installed, waiting to build a house around it. Well, the house is built. I purchased a CVS45RS downdraft to go with it and a VTR1030D external blower. The challenge is getting the 3 large parts of this system to communicate with one another. The cooktop has a control for up/down and another dial for the downdraft fan speed. It has 2 wiring clusters, one smallish one and a longer larger cluster, but I see no place to plug them in! The downdraft actually has a standard plug and when plugged in, the button on top actually sends it up and down. The blower is to be installed outside the wall 5 feet away and needs an extension to the wiring harness. It came with a hunky chunky plug in from Wieland Bamberg. I had an electrician out today, a company that came recommended as having installed Thermador rangetops, etc., etc. They said they had no idea what to do with anything unless I had all of the matching wiring plug/connections. Well, heck, I could have done it if the plug-ins all matched and were all there. None of these products has ever been installed anywhere before. The "help" desks at the parts places on line aren't any help. Eva
