Hi- Please advise. My gas dryer all of a sudden wouldn't heat. On most forums it said the igniter might be the issue. Easy to replace- so I did and cleaned the lint out of every nook and cranny in the dryer. Put the dryer back together and it still won't heat. I look through the little peep hole on the bottom of the dryer and the igniter and area around it turns red....but it never heats up. What would I replace next ? Some of the posts say it might be the coils ? Looks like I can buy the coils OR a coil kit ? I don't know what the difference is ?
Thanks-Jonelle

HI.

If the ignitor gets hot and then turns off you need to replace the control coils kit which is the same as the coils

Use the video clip for the instructions.

Post the results.
