My Whirlpool Side-by-Side refrigerator is 7 months and the water filter (W10295370) requires replacement. I have a wholehouse water filter and do not require the secondary refrigerator water filter. Is there a way to bypass the refrigerator water filter, yet still dispense water from the refrigerator and make ice? For example, may be there is a bypass cartridge that can be installed in place of the refrigerator water filter that would let the water flow to the door dispenser and ice maker.
