I have a Roper dryer model number REX4634JQ0 with no heat. I purchased a heating element from appliancepartspros.com. I installed it, still no heat. I then purchased a thermal fuse and cycling thermostat. It heated really well for one load, then no heat again. I then purchased the high temp thermostat that mounts to the heating element, and the thermal cut off, and still no heat. All parts were purchased from appliancepartspros.com, and the last two parts were purchased at the recommendation of a live chat expert. Any ideas? Thank you.

HI.

Does the motor run?
Is there a 240VAC to the dryer?

I really suggest you to get a simple multimeter so you'll be able to check the parts before replacing them.

Simon.

Dryer heats on intial start but then will shut off and not heat anymore, will continue to run and dial will not time out. So far replaced dryer timer dial, thermal fuse & dryer cycling thermostat, I also vacumed out exhaust vent! What next? I should have purchased a continuity tester!

Hi, Bernie.

The questions I'd posted were not addressed to you.
You have a gas dryer and it sounds like the control coils should be replaced Part number: 279834
Part number: 279834

Here are the breakdown diagrams and 8318272 Burner Assembly parts for Roper RGX4634KQ2 - AppliancePartsPros.com

Post the results.
