One of the XLO burners will not light. I want to replace the potentiometers and the part referenced is #189816 is no longer available. From the posts on this forum, it seems these have been replaced by new part numbers possibly more than once. Can anyone give me the correct part numbers?

These are now being sold in kits with the simmer control module, I assume to make sure the potentiometers match the simmer control module. I would rather replace the potentiometers (less than a $20 part vs the kit approx $150-$160) but not sure of the kit part number either.

The serial number of my unit is 93120015
Model number is GGSCV365

I have had no replies to earlier posts:(

Are you sure that the potentiometer is the culprit?

Did you perform any troubleshooting? If you did not then I would recommend to do it before you will order any parts. The instructions are attached to the post.

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Parts for Thermador GGSCV365 Cooktop - AppliancePartsPros.com

Yes, the traces are burned on the board. The diagram and parts shown is what I referenced in my question above. The part number 189816 is shown as no longer available. From other posts on this forum it seems that it was replaced by #422748 and that one may also be replaced.

I would replace the potentiometer first in spite of Thermador recommends to replace the simmer control module together with the potentiometers.

The potentiometer Part number: 422748
Part number: 422748

you posted is correct.

The simmer control kit Part number: 497234
Part number: 497234

HI Gene,
Can you confirm that the part 422748 is the correct replacement for 00189816 on a Thermador model PSC484GG 48" professional series cooktop? In addition to Thermador saying to replace theis with the simmer control too, they say that you will need to replace all the potentiometers at the same time too. I really appreciate your help and advice
