My GE gas stovetop will not ignite. Model# ZGU384NSM2SS. There is gas from the burners, but not spark or power. I verified the outlet and it has power. I was told to replace the module. So I ordered and replaced the module spark (WB13T10078) but it still doesn't seem to have any power to spark. please help.

There is the power transformer used in this cooktop. You have to check for 120 VAC between the two brown wires (primary winding) and for 12 VAC between the red & the white wires and for 240 VAC between the red & the brown wires (secondary windings).

Also you have to check for continuity the ignition switches and their wire harness.

Post the results.
