I have a GE gas dryer. My dryer will not run I have power comming from the outlet to the wire conector insid ethe dryer. But I have no power going to the motor I have tested all sensor and the were all good. I just installed a new door switch and a timer. I get no reading at the motor power source I think it could be the safety switch even though I got good readings I bypass the start switch and still nothing.

I believe GE also has a idler pulley safty switch ... Its purpose is to not allow the dryer to run if the belt is broken or come off ... Check the belt and let me know what you find

The only other thing I can think of that would do that is the thermal fuse ... It should be located in the back on the blower housing
