All,

I have a charcoal filter for my Kenmore 721.62622200 Microwave oven. This is an oven that installs in the cabinet over a range.

From looking at the exploded diagram on Appliance Parts Pros, it looks like I need to remove the Microwave from the cabinet to install the filter in the upper back of the oven. Can anybody reading this confirm my understanding? Before I remove the oven, I'd like to confirm that I need to do so.

Thanks,
Mike

No, unplug the microwave and remove the two screws in the grill. Lean it forward and lift it off. Reach in and lift the back of the filter and slide it forward and out.
