Vents leading to frig are freezing up. There is frost collecting on the top inside of freezer as this happens. I have cleaned vents and let ice defrost with a little help from a hair dryer. Worked for a while but it is happening again. I have tried the same thing and its still freezing up a day or so latter. Any help would be great. Been on this form before and the help was great.

Hi.

You need to check the refrigerator door gasket. Most likely there is a gap in the seal and warm air is getting inside.
Sometimes you can just adjust the gasket and the door and if that doesn't work - replace the door gasket.

Check the model number, the one you provided is not coming up.

Thank you for the response. That is not something I considered. I will check it and let you know how it went.

:DThanks for your help, sorry for delay in responding. You were right on the money, it was the freezer door seal on top. New seals all around just to make sure, I cleaned the whole refrigerator top to bottom and it is running like it is brand new. Again thanks for the help, you saved my family a ton of food and a bunch of money, and these days that can be a life saver. HAVE A GREAT DAY.:)
