After i clean up ice tank , the water not going to icemaker no more,
I check icemaker still working and the valve inlet ( I go to the shop check they said still good )
But the water not pump to icemaker ? I see water little bit leaking from filter ) it that happen ? please help TY

I see water leaking in the filter under refrigerator ,that make water in the inlet valve not coming to icemaker , is it's ? What the name call the thing holder water filter they have 2 valve,1 come from water inlet valve go to filter and 1 from filter go back to water inlet valve then go to icemaker ? I want order that but I don't know how to call what that name . please help. TY

How old is the water filter?

What is the complete model number of the refrigerator?

5 years old .
The question why icemaker and the inlet valve still working but the water can't fill up in icemaker tank ? I already swap the water wline they OK then i put it back still no water . Now I just change the Housing ( for filter ) because they leaking before now no leak ,may help ? If you have more idea please advise .TY

1. Which part did you call "ice maker tank"? Post the item number from the diagram.

2. Can you be more specific on this test. Try to use item numbers from the break down diagrams and Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL ED22QFXHW00 | AppliancePartsPros.com

Yes is it (in diagram picture )the icemaker , the water from inlet valve back of refrigerator not coming to icemaker.

okay lets start over. the water is not pumping up into the icemaker. i went to the local shop and check the inlet valve and they say it was still working. i pour water in the icemaker by hand and it does make ice within. i think the problem is that the water is not pumping in from the back of the fridge and so its not going up into the icemaker. any idea? thank you

The first thing I would do is check the water feeding tube into the ice maker for any ice or frost inside.

If there is nothing wrong then perform the ice maker troubleshooting as described in one of our previous posts: http://forum.appliancepartspros...-maker-quit-working.html and post the results.

Thank you for reply , but i dont have emeter for check that thing , may you can try for me other way .
The water filter I think about 2 years old ( I just changed second time)
