The washer will not start and displays an error code E41. The door strike appears to be OK. The service spec sheet says to do Test 7 and check continuity on J2 of the control board (if closed = replace control board, if open = replace door switch). I get a reading of 100k ohms, but I was expecting it to be infinity if open. Maybe my meter is off? I am thinking the control board is OK based on this reading. I also checked the resistance of the door lock assembly "PTC" (which I assume is the connector that the J2 cable connects to). This reads about 1800 ohms, which according to Test 9 is in the neighborhood of being correct. Should I replace the control board (137006000), the door lock assembly (AP4455026) or my meter :)? Or is there anything else to check?

Thanks for any assistance!

Pasman, You're on target, you may need to reset your meter resistance to the lowest setting (RX1) and retest the door switch circuit. With the door switch open, you should have a reading of infinity (0) resistance "open" Circuit. With the switch closed you should read high resistance(000) or "closed" circuit( test 6) . You're correct the "PTC" circuit resistance on the latch assembly should read 1500 ohms resistance(+/- 10%)This is the J3 Coonector on the board, so you may want to recheck that again. Based on your information, i'd also suspect the door lock switch assembly. Thankss
