I have a 20+ year old fridge in the garage and light went out. Not even sure when. Replaced the light with a tested working bulb. No joy. I checked the rocker switch for ohm resistance. 1 when open, 0 when closed. I checked the leads to the switch, assuming 120v AC, nothing. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Its my beer fridge. Just tired of no lights. Everything else works fine.

Hi.

Check if you are getting 120VAC to the bulb sockets.
For the parts order provide the model number.

Simon.

I checked the socket. As I suspected no power. The model is EHT201ZK.

Hi.

I recommend you to replace the door/light switch Part number: 1118894
Part number: 1118894
.
That should take care of the problem.

Simon.
