10,000 BTU Artic King Window Unit was riddled with mold. I took it apart cleaned it all up and put it back together. Tested to make sure it worked again before putting Styrofoam and metal casing back on. Not noisy and working fine. Now it works, but is really noisy. Could it be that the Styrofoam needs to be taped together or something else? HELP!

Could it be that the Styrofoam needs to be taped together or something else? HELP! My Artic King Window Unit Model MWF1-10CR is riddled with mold too. I was wanting to take the front grill off so I could clean the mold out. Have been googling for directions or contact of Artic King Technical support. The closest I have gotten so far is that you have completed this task. Would you mind giving me some direction of how to do this? I'm a little worried the mold could be making us sick. Thanks so much for your consideration. :)

What kind of noise. Vibration noise or the compressor is louder than normal?
